Frequently Asked Questions

We've prepared answers to the most common questions new clients have to provide clarity on the legal process and our representation. If you have further questions or are ready to discuss your specific legal needs, we invite you to connect with us.

How much will my case cost?

Costs vary significantly between cases based on the complexity and time required.  Fee structure and potential costs will be discussed during your initial consultation, so the financial impact can be assessed upfront.

How long will my case take to resolve?

There are several factors that impact a case's length; such as the nature of the proceeding, the other parties involved, and the court's schedule. While we cannot provide an exact timeline, we will give you a realistic estimate and keep you informed every step of the way.

What information or documents do you need from me to start?

To effectively evaluate your situation, we'll need relevant documents and detailed information pertaining to your case. During our initial discussion, we will provide a clear checklist of what we need, helping us to begin working on your behalf as quickly as possible.

Do I only pay your fees if I win my case?

Our fee structure is not contingency-based. This means fees are incurred for legal services rendered, regardless of the outcome.

How much do I need to pay upfront for your services?

If you choose to move forward with our representation, you will pay a retainer to cover initial legal expenses as they accrue. The amount varies based on the estimated scope of the case. We will clearly outline the retainer and fee structure during the consultation.

Can I get my retainer back if we cut ties?

Yes, any unused retainer or deposits will be refunded to the client upon termination of services.

Why did you choose to practice law in  Oklahoma Iafter working in California?

I've practiced in California for several years, while providing legal assistance to family and friends in Oklahoma. Though I intend to collaborate with law firms in California, my goal is to provide service to my community.

What is your approach to handling legal cases?

Our approach is rooted in empathy and pragmatism. We prioritize our client's needs while not shying away from the harsh truths of the legal system. Clear communication and affordability are points of emphasis.
